Prisma - the app that Picassos your photos - has come out of beta and the full version is now available on Android. Not without a few hiccups, however.
First off, managing to install the correct app can be a challenge. Its this one - made by Prisma Labs, icons is black triangular outline. Just searching the Play Store for "Prisma" will return a million and one apps called Prisma with a triangle logo, but those are shady.
Even after you install the real app, you cant quite use it yet. We tried on several phones and it hangs. It seems that image processing is done server-side and said servers are experiencing a launch day overload.
The Prisma servers are having a bad day
I guess after the initial crowd th ins out I can finally try the Prisma app and see turn my boring photos into art.
