How To Replace Kinguser With SuperSU In Your Android Device

Have you rooted your smartphone or tablet using KingRoot Android application? If yes is your answer, then you will have Kinguser application installed on your Android device. If you are looking for a way to replace the Kinguser app in your Android device with SuperSU (which is used by most people for managing root permissions), you are in the right page.

Here, I have given a tutorial with step by step instructions to replace Kinguser with SuperSU app. The tutorial is a simple one and even a complete newbie can do it without encountering any errors.

Tutorial To Replace Kinguser With SuperSU:

Method 1:

1) To get started, make sure that you have rooted your smartphone or tablet and the device has Kinguser app installed in it.

2) Next, ensure that you have enabled Installation of apps Unknown Sources in your device by following this path: Settings -> Security -> Device Administration -> Unknown Sources.

3) Now, download SuperSU-Me app to your Android device. Once downloaded, tap on the .apk file to install it in your device. Once the application is installed, tap on the App icon to launch it. While doing so, the app will ask for root permission. Just “Grant” it.

4) In the SuperSU-Me screen, press the big blue button to begin the replacing process i.e., the process to replace Kinguser with SuperSU.

5) Once the replacing process is over, SuperSU app will automatically open up in your device.

6) Now, if you open up Apps Menu in your Android device, you won’t find Kinguser or any other related app. It will all be replaced by SuperSU app.

That’s it. Now you have successfully replaced Kinguser with SuperSU android app. We have shared another method for replacing Kinguser with SuperSU below. Method 2:

1) To get started, download “Replace_Kingroot_With_SuperSU.zip” file to your computer and extract it. Once you extract the .zip package, you will get a folder named “mrw” with four files in it.
2) Now, enable USB debugging mode in your Android device by following this path: Settings -> Developer Options -> USB Debugging. Once enabled, connect your Android smartphone or tablet with the computer and transfer the “mrw” folder to your device’s internal memory.
3) Next, download and install Terminal Emulator for Android from Google Play Store. Once installed, launch the application and enter the following command:

Su

4) Now, a prompt message will show up in your device asking for root permission. Grant it.
5) Next, enter the following command in the Terminal Emulator for An droid app:

sh /sdcard/mrw/root.sh

6) Now, you will get some error message initially but in the end, the SuperSU app will be launched. If not, launch the SuperSU app installed in your device manually and update SU binary. Once updated, reboot your device.
That’s it. Now you have successfully replaced Kinguser android app with SuperSU application. To confirm whether your Android device still has root permissions, use the Root Checker app from Google Play store.
