Samsung expects Galaxy S8 pre-order figures to top the Note7s from six months ago, Korean media reveals. 400,000 units of the phablet that wasnt meant to be were sold in the 13 days prior to official release last year, and the S8 duo should exceed that.
The pre-order period starts on April 7 and pre-ordered devices should be in the hands of buyers on April 18, a few days ahead of the April 21 retail launch date. Sources say that Samsung has decided to come out with subsidy plans for the new smartphones even before the pre-order kick-off date.
